• Serious crime issues, widespread prejudice

• High frequency of crime and drug abuse

• Windows insulated in a number of apartments
Learnings
• Social
work and community development needed
• Buildings in advanced stages of Rév8 program significantly better
performing
• Ability to pay back extremely low – complex poverty relief program
• Failures:
• Unpleasant
volunteer experience
• Difficulty to find good locations for volunteer builds
• Pricing challenges
