OPEN and Rosters
• OPEN will be heavily integrated with
RSS for protocol information, site
registration data, and institutional and
person roster data.
• Group and CTSU institutional and
person roster data, including person
roles, must be update to date and
accurate in RSS for site staff to access
OPEN and process patient enrollments.

If the associate is not linked
to the site on their affiliated
group or the CTSU roster
they cannot view available
protocols at that site.

Person Roster in RSS.

To complete registration the user
must have the appropriate registrar
role.
If participating on the study via the CTSU
the registrar role is assigned on the
CTSU roster.
If participating as a member of the
protocol-lead group the registrar
must have the appropriate role on
the Group roster.

Maintaining Relationships
• Investigator and associates must be on
the Cooperative Group treatment roster
at the treating institution.
• Associate/Investigators must be
assigned the appropriate role at the
treating institution to complete
enrollments in OPEN.

OPEN Administrators
• Will be captured on the CTSU roster for
each Group.
• Will have access to form setup screens
and override application.
• RSS Roles mapped to OPEN Roles
