Omalizumab. Save the monoclonal antibody, Xolair, for patients
with severe asthma and allergies...who are not responding
adequately to high-dose inhaled steroids and long-acting betaagonists.
New NIH guidelines will improve asthma treatment.
You'll see renewed emphasis on controlling
symptoms...patient education...and avoiding allergens.

