• Mumbai, Nov 27 (IANS) The top floor of
the world-famous Hotel Taj
Intercontinental in Mumbai caught fire
after a bomb explosion as terrorists struck
at seven locations in the metropolis late
Wednesday night. The 22-storey, five-star
hotel by the Arabian Sea was one of the
targets of the terrorist attack. An
explosion on the top floor soon engulfed
the top floor of the hotel in fire.
2)Oberoi Trident-Other Terror

On November 26, 2008 the Oberoi Trident was taken
over by terrorists as a part of the November 2008
Mumbai attack. 32 staff and guests were killed
during the 3-day siege

3)Nariman House- Was Also Undertaken By Terrorists

The Nariman House renamed as Chabad
House is a five-story landmark in the
Colaba area in southern Mumbai The
building was home to a Chabad house, a
Jewish outreach center run by ChabadLubavitch, and they have building since
around 2006. The center had an
educational center, a synagogue, offered
drug prevention services and a hostel.

4)Terrorists strikes at
Mumbai's CST station
Suspected terrorists firing from an AK 47 rifle
outside the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in
Mumbai.
• On 26 November 2008,
two terrorists entered
the passenger hall of
the CST, opened fire
and threw grenades at
the people. The
terrorists were armed
with AK-47 rifles. More
than 50 people were
killed in the attack.

their families, the attacks caused widespread anger
among the Indian public and condemnations
throughout the world.
The immediate impact was felt on Mumbai and
Maharashtra state, and throughout urban India.
There were also after-effects on the Indian
government, center-state relations within India,
Indo-Pakistani relations, domestic impact within
Pakistan, on the United States relationships with
both countries, the US-led NATO war in
Afghanistan, and on the Global War on Terror.
