Narcotic Drugs Situation in Thailand
 Narcotic drugs problem decreased (≈25% of
narcotic drugs problem in 2002)
 However, trend of narcotic drugs slightly
increase during 2006-2007
 Production of narcotic drugs exist in
neighbouring countries
 Trafficking of narcotic drugs into Thailand

 ≈120 Drug networks (30,000 drug dealers)
remain active
 ≈ 250,000 drug users/addicts exist
 ≈ 40,000 villager/community reported to have
drug problem (20% of total villages)
