• Principal Investigator: Robert E. Marc, PI
• Computational Molecular Phenotyping (CMP) is a set of
technologies to visualize small molecules in cells
• Small molecules form the cellular “metabolome” and
“metabolomics” is the next frontier in molecular medicine
• The Marc Laboratory possesses a large library of probes
• The Marc Laboratory has three key technologies for commercialization:
(1) CMP probe reagents to track small molecules
(2) CMP microscope platforms to image molecules
(3) CMP software for analyze molecular fingerprints
• Potential IP includes probes applications,
CMP platform component technologies, software
applications, testing kits, and CMP systems for:
medical diagnostics,drug discovery, forensics,
environmental testing and agronomics screening.
