Fourth International Conference on the
Scientific and Clinical Applications
of Magnetic Carriers
May 9-11, 2002
Tallahassee, Florida, U.S.A.
This meeting is devoted exclusively to the preparation, analysis, use
and application of magnetic microspheres in basic and clinical
research. Topics to be covered include the preparation and
characterization of magnetic particles and ferrofluids, and their
application in molecular and cell biology as diagnostic agents, for
extractions, in biomedicine and for cell separations. Emphasis is
also placed on clinical applications including magnetic fluid
hyperthermia, MR imaging, nuclear medicine, cancer treatment,
magnetic drug delivery, artificial organs and magnetic blood
