Vision of PS1 System and the PS1SC
 Project teams are scientfic collaborations beyond collecting
PS1 data – extending to coordinated follow-up observations
across key project teams.
 This science council as a whole is scientific collaboration
that works together on common goals of data analysis and
collection.
 New paradigm of 21st century astronomy – building a
substantial integrated system from coordinated
observations, to metadata, to data reduction and analysis, to
scientific understanding of the collection of detections and
non-detections, and their selection functions, into scientific
discoveries and new understanding of our world from earth
impactors to the edge of the universe.
