A region of Spain called Catalonia is declaring
independence from Spain and becoming its own country.
This is really going to hurt Spain’s economy because
Catalonia is a very big tourist region and is home to the
world famous Barcelona soccer club where many pay lots
of money to see play. This is going to reduce Spain’s
economy by 20% and will hurt its trading partners to, one of
which is America.
