for health protection in the Milanese area
Partnership: Lombardia Region, Province of Milan, City of Milan
Time horizon: 2007-2009
Four key measures:
1. Strengthen Public transport: new buses and lines, railway services
2. Improve mobility: bike lanes, car sharing / pooling, integrated fares
3. Cope with vehicle and heating emissions: better technologies,
more abatement efficiency; more emission controls
4. Decrease number of vehicles: parking regulation, pollution charge
