QUESTIONS
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR EACH OF YOUR 3 CHARTS THAT YOU MADE
IN EXCEL. POST THEM ON THE SLIDE AFTER THE CHART THAT YOU COPIED
AND PASTED IN POWERPOINT.
1.
What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount?
Norway has the largest column for physician density. The physician density in Norway is 4.076. The reasons that I think this
country has the highest amount is because it is a developed country, and because it also has the highest column for literacy rates.
2.
What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount?
Afghanistan has the lowest column for physician density. The physician density for Afghanistan is 0.21. This country has a low
amount because it has the least amount of literacy rates and because it is a developing country.
3.
Look at the 5th and 6th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where
they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question.
The countries ranked 5th and 6th are one of each. The United States is developed, and China is developing. These countries
are ranked 5th and 6th because they probably provide less quality health care then most countries, but also provide more quality health
care than many others.
4.
Look at the 7th and 8th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top
half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question.
The countries ranked 7th and 8th are developing countries. Both The Bahamas and Haiti are developing countries. These
countries need to provide better quality health care, and need to provide better education for their people to be literate and become
physicians in order to get to the top half of the rankings.
5.
Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has
on world consumption.
Norway stands out to me on the chart. I think Norway has big impact on world consumption because it is a developed country, and
has big cities. It also has good economy. It is the fifth largest oil exporter, and third largest gas exporter.

ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR EACH OF YOUR 3 CHARTS THAT
YOU MADE IN EXCEL. POST THEM ON THE SLIDE AFTER THE CHART

1.
What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country
has the highest amount?
The country with the largest column is China. I think China has the highest amount because since it
was introduced to the internet, its number of internet users never stopped growing.
2.
What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low
amount?
The country that has the smallest column is The Bahamas. This country has a low amount because it
is a developing country, and its internet service is very expensive, and does not work as well as other
internet services.
3.
Look at the 5th and 6th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why
do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question.
The 5th and 6th ranked countries are one of each. Norway is developed, and Haiti and Afghanistan are
developing. I think that the countries are ranked what they are because the people might not use
internet as much as other countries do, or the service isn’t too well and is expensive.
4.
Look at the 7th and 8th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they
need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you
answer the question.
The 7th and 8th ranked countries are one of each. Aruba is developed, and Armenia is developing. In
order to get to the top half of the rankings, these countries need to provide better internet service and
have to use it more.
5.
Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the
country and what type of impact it has on world consumption.
The United Kingdom stands out to me on the chart. The UK is a developed country and has the world’s
sixth largest economy. It has the largest city GDP in Europe.
QUESTIONS
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR EACH OF YOUR 3 CHARTS THAT
YOU MADE IN EXCEL. POST THEM ON THE SLIDE AFTER THE CHART
THAT YOU COPIED AND PASTED IN POWERPOINT.
1.
What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country
has the highest amount?
The country that has the largest column is Norway. I think that this country has the highest amount
because it is developed and had the largest column in physician density, too.
2.
What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low
amount?
The country with the smallest column is Afghanistan. I think this country has a low amount because it
is developing and because it has had one of the poorest education records in the world.
3.
Look at the 5th and 6th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do
you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question.
The countries ranked 5th and 6th are developing countries. The Bahamas and China are developing
countries. I think the countries are where they are in the rankings because their people are not as
literate as the developed countries, or the countries ranked higher than them, and their rates are not
as low as the countries ranked lower than them.
4.
Look at the 7th and 8th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they
need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you
answer the question.
The countries ranked 7th and 8th are developing countries. Haiti and Afghanistan are both developing.
In order to get to the top half of the rankings, these countries need to provide better education for their
people.
5.
Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the
country and what type of impact it has on world consumption.
A country that stands out to me on the chart is Australia. Australia is a wealthy country with a low
rate of poverty. It is ranked third in the Index of Economic Freedom. It is the world’s thirteenth largest
