The 23rd CODATA International
Conference and the 28th General
Assembly will be held in Taipei:

General Assembly: Nov 1-2
The conference venue is Academia
Sinica, a government research
institution with a campus at the outskirt
of Taipei City that can be reached by
public transportation.

The same venue as the 2009 Symposium on
Common Use Licensing of Publicly Funded
Scientific Data and Publications

Local Organization Committee


The local organization committee (LOC) has been formed by
CODATA Taipei in collaboration with Research Center for
Information Technology Innovation at Academia Sinica, with some
funding from the National Science Council.

Conference theme: Open Data and Information for a
Changing Planet
Scientific program committee is chaired by Prof. Ray
Harris (Department of Geography, University
College London) and is currently being formed.
Abstract submissions will be handled by an webbased system (easychair.org) to allow for a
streamlined submission and review process.

(Taoyuan International Airport, TPE) by major
airlines.
30-45 min taxi/bus ride from the airport to Taipei City
center; 20-30 min subway/bus ride from City center
to the conference site.
