and AP U.S. History courses? What is the conflict?

1. The College Board determines the curriculum. Critics say
changes focus on too much social controversies and the
dark side of U.S. History and not enough emphasis on the
positive side. Supporters say they are not telling teachers
what to teach or students what to think.
2. Group of 20 – includes the biggest advanced and
emerging economies of the world. Representing 2/3 of
world’s population and 85% of GDP. They pledge to try and
improve the global economy by spending $$, investing in
new projects for their countries creating millions of jobs.
