Recent Successes
Case Study: Gibber Theatre
• Gibber delivers theatre-in-education and drama based business training.
• Gibber has spent the past 14 years touring schools within the UK and is a
first-time exporter.
• UKTI Australia assisted Gibber through OMIS to research a local partner
to carry out the tour scheduling and administration as part of Gibber
Theatre’s bid for the ‘Bridges to Higher Education’ program.
• UKTI Australia organised a meeting schedule with potential partners and
provided exclusive access for meetings at the Business Centre at the
British Consulate-General, Sydney.
• UKTI also provided contact details for legal advice in Australia.
• Gibber Theatre Ltd won the ‘Bridges to Higher Education’ contract and
subsequently set up Gibber Australia Ltd.
Case Study: Courageous Success
• Courageous Success is a training consultancy that focuses on
transforming productivity and leadership.
• Courageous Success commissioned an OMIS report from UKTI
Australia to find and facilitate introductions to appropriate HR &
Training Managers in Australia.
• We did this in April 2013.
• They received their first order three weeks ago.
Rail Case study: Gioconda
• Gioconda’s 3D modeling is a standalone service for
construction related 3D visualisation and virtual models.
• Its product is innovative and fills a capability gap in
Australia.
• UKTI Australia met Gioconda at Innotrans in Berlin
• They commissioned a £2,800 OMIS report asking us to
introduce them to prospective clients and key decision
makers
• Through a contact identified in the OMIS report they
have been asked to quote for a £150,000 contract.
