Case Study – Start Up Briton (March 2011)
We were approached by Start Up Briton to increase awareness of their national campaign in
London. They hired three Mini Coopers and branded them with magnetic door signage.
Company representatives were then dressed in period 1960s attire and displayed the cars at
high foot-through locations. QR code incorporated literature was handed out at each location
pushing consumers directly to their facebook page. Consumers were then incentivised to ‘like’
their page in return for exclusive access to competitions, business mentoring advise and
equipment give-aways. Competition winners where then given one-to-one business advise from
celebrities such as Doug Richards (Dragon’s Den) and Will King (King of Shaves), whilst touring
London in the Minis. This was then recorded and aired on their viral marketing channels.

The results of the campaign:
• Increased mobile device traffic and social

• 32 % increase in ‘Likes’ on Facebook page
• 28% increase in new twitter followers
