An advertisement uses words and pictures to
persuade people to buy a product or service,
or to believe in an idea.
2.Where can we find these ads ?
We can find them on billboards, on the
Internet, in newspapers/magazines, on TV,
etc.
3. Why do you like these ads ?
They are quite interesting, creative and we
can get some useful information from them.
4. What are PSAs meant to do ?
They are meant to educate people about health,
safty, or any other problem that affects public
welfare.
5.Does an advertisement tell people the
complete truth? Can we trust it?
There are laws to protect people from
advertisements that cheat people. However,
we still must be aware of the skilful methods
used in ads to try and sell us things.
