PARALLEL VS SERIES
• What is the difference between a series and
parallel circuit?
PROBLEM SOLVING
• Two bulbs connected in a parallel shine more brightly than
when they are connected to the same voltage source on
series. Explain why this doesn’t violate the law of
conservation of energy.
• You plug in a string of Christmas lights and notice that the
entire string turns off when you remove one bulb. Explain
why this happens.
