Research and Production Enterprise Electrotech is
developer and manufacturer of Well Cementing
Process Control System SKCS-01
The company has been operating for fifteen years, while system SKCS-о1 has
been supplied for more than ten years.
SKCS-01
System SKCS-01 is used in oil and gas industry for
the operations as follows:
• well cementing,
• well major workover, and
• cement squeeze.
System SKCS-01 may be used for various
processes where fluids of different density are
pumped.
Parameters
System SKCS-01 makes measurement, recording,
and monitoring of the parameters as follows:
• Density from 800 to 2,400kg/cu.m,
• Flow rate up to 180cu.m/h,
• Pressure up to 40MPa, and
• Temperature from -40 to +80°C.

Vibration densitometer
Density is measured by means
of vibration method.
Fluid fills two tubes which
execute induced oscillation
relative to each other in
resonant mode with amplitude
of less than 0.5mm.
Resonance frequency depends
on weight of tubes filled with
the fluid.
Electromagnetic flow meter
Principle of operation:
Measurement
of
electromotive
force
(EMF) generated during
flow of
electrically
conducting
fluid
in
magnetic field.
Vibration flow meter
(Coriolis)
Advanced
device
for
measurement of flow rate
and density of fluid flow.
It does not depend on flow
electrical conductivity.
It is of straight-tube design
working based on vibration
method.
Design of Coriolis flow meter:
Two parallel tubes which
execute relative transverse
oscillations in horizontal
plane of less than 0.5mm in
amplitude.
Thermal box ensures stable
operation conditions of the
device.
Principle of operation:
Resonance
transverse
oscillations are excited in the
tube.
Fluid flowing along the tube
breaks
symmetry
of
oscillations relative to tube
center.
Displacement
transducers,
mounted at side areas, record
the resulting phase difference.
The higher fluid velocity, the
more phase difference.
Advantages of straight-tube Coriolis flow
meter
• Straight tubes ensure high resistance to abrasive action of flow of
the pumped fluid which provides operational integrity and safe
operation in high pressure lines.
• Oscillation amplitude is no more than fractions of millimeter. Flow
passes through the device with little to no disturbance.
• Simultaneous measurement of flow rate and density regardless of
electrical conductivity of the fluid.

• Electric power supply: operating voltage of 12V
or 24V. Operation from commercial network of
220V.
• Power reserve from several voltage sources.
• Consumed power of the whole system is no more
than 300W.
• Protection from short-term power failure by means of smallcapacity battery backup (for example, during car engine start).
