 Electrical Engineering
 I learned basic engineering concepts, mostly
electrical. This class sort of summarizes and
applies the theories I’ve learned in other courses
in an easy way. There couldn’t have been another
way to learn this stuff.
 With the experience I’ve gained in this course, I
will be more prepared for future courses or
projects.
 For next group of students, learn as much as you
can during the lecture and Have Fun.

When I originally signed up for the class, I was EE, but
switched to business with engineering background.
I learned valuable knowledge of may useful devices
used in engineering as well as basic wiring and
execution of engineering projects.
Thanks to this course, I have learned I definitely want to
be involved in product development, even if my major is
in business.
I hope to eventual embark in a career of interfacing
between groups of engineers and customers for a
company.
I would tell future students to take this class if they plan
on having a career which has anything to do with
engineering or product development.

 Freshman
from Miami
 Originally Computer Science and changed to EE
 I’ve learned the basics in programming behavior
into autonomous systems. Voltage divider.
 This course has inspired me to continue in
robotics and build my own robots from scratch.
 I would like to finish my Bachelor degree and
continue to graduate school. Build an
autonomous racing car.
 Personal success is achieved when work and fun
are the same thing.
Design Methodology

Jaws relied solely in sensors to navigate the course
(continuous forward motion unless dictated
otherwise).
Two photocells and two IR sensors.
Photocells if change in lighting stop and line
following.
IRs for proximity.

Conclusion
 Sensor
placement important.
 Order of Lines in Code
 One can try to predict every detail, but
there are always unexpected things that
will happen. At that point the one’s ability
to adapt is essential to its success
