Electricity – made understandable
Starting to “build the electrical system”
A more simple electrical schematic
Electricity
• 28 volt system
• (1) 10 ampere battery
– Located under nose baggage compartment
floor
• (2) 75 amp belt driven alternators
– (1) each Alternator Control Units
– Regulate voltage, shut down alternator in the event it
begins to produce excessive (32+) voltage, parallels the
two alternators
Routing
• Power from battery continuously available
to hot battery bus
– Grd Clearance
– Courtesy lights
– Nose baggage compartment light
Routing - 2
• Power available from battery through
master switch, to the 80 amp circuit
breaker on to the tie bus
• Tie Bus
– 2 Main buss circuit breakers
– 1 non-ess circuit breaker
– 2 avionics circuit breakers
