High Pressure Effect
(1) Apply Pressure
We apply pressure by hydrostatic method which is isotropic direction and
use a piston-cylinder type Be-Cu clamp to lock the pressure transmitting
with samples by inert fluid (3M company) in Teflon capsule.
(2) Pressure Manometer
We apply the pressure on Lead and Tin to see dTc/dP. Then we check with the
standard calibration chart. So we can know the applying pressure on our samples
in every measurement.
(3) Electrical Resistivity Measurement
We employ the standard four probe method to measure resistance.
(4) Mutual Inductance Measurement
Inside the cylinder clamp we have one primary coil exterior and
two secondary coils interior. We apply alternative current to primary
coil producing a magnetic field which can induce voltage potential in
secondary coils. The inducing voltage in one of the secondary coils
which put sample in the center is different from other
one that do not have sample. The difference voltage potential
between these two secondary coils is result of mutual inductance of
our sample. The schematic diagram cell of pressure effect
