1440-TBS-J
Spring Clamp Terminal Base
Designed to accommodate all of the input / output
requirements of the 1440-DYN02-01RJ Dynamic
Module via 52 Spring Tension terminations.
• Advantages
– Spring or tension-type connections offer generally
faster installation than screw-clamp terminal blocks
– Spring-type terminal blocks use a metal spring to
hold the wire tightly against the current bar
– Spring clamps are superior when vibration is a
concern
– Spring clamp’s constant tension connections mean
no preventative maintenance is required
• Connections
– 52 IEC IEP 20 Spring Tension terminations
– XM-Net Side Connector
• Wire Size
– Maximum: 12 gauge (4mm2) stranded
– Minimum: 22 gauge (0.35mm2)
– Insulation: 3/64 inch (1.2mm) maximum
• Operating Temperature
– -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F)

ControlLogix Integration
Allows for…
• Programmatic Access
– Data and attributes fully accessible via RSLogix
programming
– Simple application of condition data into user
developed logic
– Logic to manage configuration
• Consolidated System Management
– Configuration assemblies saved as part of the Logix
configuration (L5K files)
• Module configurations are managed along with
the rest of the automation system
– Module configuration only within RSLogix
• Insures that the same security and controls
implemented for the automation system are
applied to the protection system
• The Application of the Power of Logix
– Applying all of the capabilities of RSLogix…
• Add On Instructions, Faceplates, MultiProgramming Environments, Intuitive
Programming Tools…
