Indicators of Leadership
Indicators of leadership will point out whether or
not a group, unit, or section, has either good or bad
leadership.
• Moral: Attitude (good or bad)
• Proficiency: The Quality of work or performance
• Discipline: Control or orderly behavior
• Esprit ‘de Corps: Literally – the spirit of the core or heart!

STYLES OF LEADERSHIP

Authoritative – Told what to do, how to do, without
asking others.

Delegative –Assign a specific task to a specific individual.
–The leader that assigned the task is still accountable for the outcome.

Participative – Involves ideas and advice of others.
–Allowing the group or unit to have a say in the decision making progress
is good for morale.
