AUSTRALIA
• Australia is estimated to be 7,692,024 square
Kilometers.
• Australia is the sixth largest nation.
• Australia has the most venomous snakes in
the world.
• Australia is the smallest continent and the
largest island.
KOALA
• Koalas are not bears.
• Koalas fossils found in Australia have been
dated back to 20 million years.
• Koalas eat eucalypt leaves and almost nothing
else.
• The closest living relative to the Koala is the
Wombat.
• A baby Koala is called a Joey.
• Koalas have a large nose coloured pink or
black.
Crocodiles
• Crocodiles have the strongest bite of any
animal in the world.
• Some crocodile species can weigh up to
1200kg (2600lb).
• The saltwater crocodile is the largest species
of Crocodile in the world.
• The muscles that open a Crocodiles jaw are
not so powerful. Strong people would be able
to hold a Crocodiles jaw shut.
• Crocodiles eat fish , Birds and other animals.
FAIRY PENGUIN
• The Fairy penguin is the smallest species of
penguin
• There nicknames are the blue penguin , the
little blue penguin or the blue penguin
• The head and upperparts are blue in colour ,
with slate grey ears.
• The fairy penguin has wings and a long life
span.
GREAT WHITE SHARK
• The great white shark is also known as the

man eater.

• The great white sharks normally eat seals ,
small fish and other things they can find.

Rainbow Lorikeet 

• These birds are mostly found in flocks , big
flocks at night.
• These birds spend most of there time feeding
and most of their food comes from trees ,
flowers , pollen and blossom.

• The colour of the lizard matches the land on
which it lives , so a frilled lizard from 1 region
may be brighter than another.
• The male is more colourful than the female,
They are not poisonous or harmful to man.
Tasmanian Devil

(eat meat)in Australia.
• The Tasmanian devil is usually black with a
white collar or patch around his neck.
• It is the size of a small terrier dog.
• Its dark colouring helps it to move around
unseen at night.
• Tasmanian devil prefers to eat carrion(which is
dead animals.
