 These forests are
found in North
America, Europe,
and Asia.
 The average
temperature in
deciduous forest is
roughly 75 degrees
but gets as high as
86 degrees,
depending on the
altitude of the
forest.
Location
 Deciduous forest are found in
the middle latitudes around the
globe.
Landscape
 Deciduous trees
lose their leaves
seasonally.
 They would look
different depending
on the time you look
at it.
 In spring and
summer it would
look lush and green.
Plants/Animals
 Peccary-Peccaries
are most active at
dawn and dusk;
they rest during the
hottest part of the
day.
 Nightingale-The
nightingale is about
6 to 7 inches long
and weighs about
1in a half to 1
ounce.
Animals
 NewtNewts are about 3
to 4 inches long.
Newt spend their
lives near water
because they
must return to
the water to lay
their eggs.

is often enriched
with falling leaves,

dead organisms.
