home to over 1000 animals.
The 3 animals we are going to show you today are:
Jaguar
Capybara
Howler Monkey
JAGUAR FACTS
 The Jaguar is between 4-6 feet.
 He weights 150-450 pounds.
 They have 1 to 4 babies at a time
 Their life span is 12-16 years
 Jaguars are slowly disappearing
Howler Monkey Facts
• Baby Howler Monkeys travel on their mother's
stomach or back.
• The Howler Monkey is the loudest land animal.
• They can be heard up to three miles away
• Howlers live high in the trees of the rain forests.
• They eat mostly leaves and fruit.
• Howlers are Diurnal.
CAPYBARA
 Capybara’s eat water, plants, grass,
and tree bark.
 They are about the size of a full grown dog.
 They are about 3-4 feet long and weigh between
60-170 pounds.
 They can live up to about 10 years in the wild.
 Capybaras are active in the morning and night.
They rest in a burrow during the day.
