Eyes are for seeing.
In the Spring, I see:
The leaves beginning to bud on the
trees.
In the Spring, I see:
Flowers blooming on the ground.
In the Spring, I see:
Birds building nests and laying eggs.
Ears are for hearing.
In the Spring I hear:
The wind blowing.
In the Spring, I hear:
Birds singing in the trees.
In the Spring, I hear:
The rain pattering on the roof and ground.
Fingers are for touching.
In the Spring, I touch:
A silky flower petal.
In the Spring, I touch:
Wet puddles on the ground.
In the Spring, I touch:
Velvety soft green grass.
A mouth is for tasting.
In the Spring, I taste:
Juicy, sweet berries.
In the Spring, I taste:
Sugary cold popsicles.
In the Spring, I taste:
Cool, delicious “sweet tea.”
A nose is for smelling.
In the Spring, I smell:
The blossoms blooming on the trees.
In the Spring, I smell:
The warm earth in my garden.
In the Spring, I smell:
Flowers blooming everywhere!
In the Spring, I like to see
In the Spring, I like to hear
In the Spring, I like to feel
In the Spring, I like to taste
In the Spring, I like to smell
