stems,will sometimes
eat meat,other
grasses,fruit,flowers,
and roots. It can eat
up to 85lbs. Of

Five Interesting Facts
• There between 800 and 1300 living in the
wild. The Giant Panda has a 30 year life
span at the most. Sometimes panda’s take a
trip down the mountain and steal farmer’s
honey from the bee hives. The Chinese
word for panda is Beishung it means white
bear. When a baby Panda is born it weighs
about as much as a apple.
