To facilitate a step-change in the IS research perspective from the
present, technology-oriented approach, to one centred on physical
problem, without losing touch with technological conditions of IS
generation;
To intensify scientific
international cooperation;
To Improve research efficiency
by facilitating instantaneous
access to data, results,
interpretations and
methodologies;
To strengthen cooperation
between industry and science.
