dentate along the
margins. They have
pinnate veins that are
straight. Each leaflet is

Habitat and Range
 Habitats include savannas, abandoned
fields, pastures, edges of paths, degraded
meadows with a history of disturbance, and
vacant lots. The range is the Southeastern
United States.
Uses
 This species is occasionally grown for forage
or to rejuvenate cropland.
