TIGER
FAST FACTS
• Tigers are native to
Asia
• The common habitat
are tropical
rainforests. Grassy or
swamp areas
• The diet of Tigers
consist of wild deer,
cattle and pigs, or
lazy students.
ZEBRA
FAST FACTS
- Zebras grow to around 1.5
meters high and about 2
meters long.
• There are 3 species of
Zebras; all are found in
Africa.
• Zebras live together on the
African plains in large herds
• The Zebras’ defense includes
the strong kick, and
explosive takeoff.
HYENA
FAST FACTS
• Africa's most common
large carnivore
• Hyenas are found in
grasslands, woodlands,
savannas, sub deserts,
forest edges and
mountains.
• It consumes animals of
various types and sizes,
bones, vegetable
matter and other
animal droppings
.

• Orangutans have an
enormous arm span. Males
can stretch their arms 7 feet
• Orangutans spend 90% of
their time in the trees of
tropical rain forests.
• Their average life span in the
wild is 30-40 years.
• Diet == omnivore
RAT
FAST FACTS
• Average life span = 2 to 3
years
• They eat seeds, fruit,
grains, nuts, flowers,
leaves, insects, birds,
reptiles, fish, eggs and
fungus.
• Rats use high-frequency
sounds, smell, touch and
body postures to
communicate with each
other.
COCKROACHES
• Cockroaches have
six legs, two
antennae and
wings.
• It can live a week
without its head.
• The Cockroach can
go a month
without food.
FLYING FISH
• Flying Fish are found in
all the major oceans.
• Flying fishes make
long, flying leaps out
of the water, especially
when they are getting
chased by predators
• The average length is
10 inches long
DORADO FISH
•AKA…the Dolphin
Fish or Mahi Mahi.
• Brilliantly
colored with
golden hues on its
sides.
• Possess
compressed
bodies on long
dorsal fins.
MEERKATS
• Average lifespan of
12-14 years
• Primarily eat
insects and small
animals
