to survive.

Ecosystem

The community of organisms
in an area along with their
nonliving surroundings.

Difference
between Habitat
and ecosystem


Habitat is talking
about one organism
and it’s specific needs
and Ecosystem refers
to many organisms
and how they relate to
each other and their
environment.
There are many
Habitats within an
Ecosystem.
Communities and
Populations

Species

A group of organisms
that are physically
similar and can mate
with eachother and
produce offspring that
can mate with each
other.

Population

All the members of
one species in a
particular area.

Community

All the different
populations that
live together in an
area.
